Fox Valley Freedom Coalition
“Empowering citizens through activism and education.”
Group Model/Dynamic Focal Points:
- Issues & Activism
- Education & Empowerment
Mission Statement
“The goal of the Fox Valley Freedom Coalition is to raise and promote issues relating to freedom and liberty within our communities, with an emphasis on personal responsibility, as well as to promote an activist population throughout, which is the cornerstone of a true representative government.”
About Us
The FVFC is a politically non-affiliated coalition of concerned citizens who hold the American ideals of freedom and liberty to be very dear. It is the opinion of the FVFC that our representative government is everyday becoming more and more out of the control of the people, antithetical to the true intention of the Constitution of the United States. Furthermore, it is the opinion of the FVFC that guiding and instructing our representative government is the sole responsibility of United States citizens alone, and that that responsibility has become sorely neglected in our modern era.
A driving force behind the FVFC is the idea that citizens need not feel or be un-empowered. Individual empowerment is the sole guarantee of a free society, and so the FVFC is fueled by the desire to promote that sense of empowerment throughout a population that grows more apathetic with each successive generation.
The FVFC is not a group that adheres to Robert’s Rules of Conduct, so for those who are seeking such an organization we ask that you approach this group with an open mind and a sense of self-government and duty. The FVFC does not wish nor intend to create a top down organization, and while some semblance of official order is necessary in any group endeavor, each member of the FVFC is more or less on an even level with every other member.
While there are no dues to be paid to enroll or maintain membership in the FVFC, certain benefits for paying members will be enacted as the group sees fit. Various fund raising ventures will be enacted throughout the year to help the group fund the activities that it will be working on, and donations are always welcome.
Action
The basic organizational structure for the FVFC will remain loose, and will be as follows:
A group of founding members will be considered the Organizers. Organizers will be the main representatives, the ultimate decision makers of any group actions (as opposed to spontaneous individual actions), as well as the major motivational forces behind the group when such a motivational force is necessary.
A Treasurer will be needed to manage all money coming into the group.
Assistant Organizers will be those members who assist Organizers in major actions, and from time to time wish to organize an action on their own. Where the Organizers will see after the day-to-day operation and regulation of the group as a whole, the Assistant Organizers will only be primarily concerned with specific actions and ensuring that they are carried out effectively. The titles of Organizer and Assistant Organizer are not meant for show or to pad resumes, they require involvement and a certain proficiency for achieving set goals.
All other persons will be considered Members and will be required to input feedback, creativity, and vitality into the group as a whole. No one is insignificant that is a Member of this group.
Every Member of the FVFC is encouraged to bring whatever specific talents, skills, and ideas they might have “to the table”. If a Member does not know what talents they may have then it will be a challenge put forth to the rest of the group to help find out what talents and skills that Member may have, and help to utilize them.
Aside from sanctioned group actions, the FVFC encourages all members to take upon themselves the leadership role and to spontaneously organize events and actions on their own. While the FVFC as a group may be pursuing a particular issue in the community, one or more members may not necessarily be attracted to that particular issue, or perhaps have no relevant way to support it, and so take it upon themselves to organize some other action that falls under the goals of the group as stated. Creativity and spontaneous action must not be stifled in order for a true activist population to flourish, and so the FVFC accommodates both the more “tried and true” methods of effective community involvement as well as staying open, receptive, and supportive of new models and paradigms for effective communication and action. Keep in mind that it is one of the duties of the Organizers to maintain a positive image of the group within the community, and so any Member found to be tarnishing the image of the group, thereby working to make the group disreputable, will be cut off from the group and disqualified as a Member. We ask that anyone planning to organize a spontaneous action as a representative Member of the FVFC alert one or more Organizers before hand simply to avoid any unnecessary Member disqualification.
Group actions will ultimately be decided by the Organizers, but only after careful consideration and open, constructive, discussions with all other members of the group. We must find issues and actions that engage the group’s dynamics to their fullest potential, and that goal can only be accomplished by open involvement with each other’s ideas.
The ultimate goal is to raise issues within a community that create new dialogue and spurn once inactive citizens to become actively engaged in the decision-making process within their community.
Education
Aside from action, the other main focus of the FVFC is education. One cannot act effectively without knowing how to act, and why one acts in the first place. The more one is educated about any particular subject, the more proper the actions that will be enacted. The educational aspect of the FVFC will be driven only by the knowledge, experience, and resources made available by each and every other Member. The FVFC highly encourages each member to be as educated as possible on the broader subjects concerning freedom, liberty, and self-empowerment, but we also realize the benefit of more specific understandings of certain relevant topics and so encourage each member to pursue areas of research that appeal to them individually.
The main educational interests of the FVFC are as follows:
- Freedom & Liberty (enemies of it, how it’s being fought, how it’s being protected)
- Self-Empowerment (fighting apathy, making apparent the importance of the Individual)
- Effective Communication (reaching out to the community effectively, engaging dialogue)
- Political Awareness (political issues at local and state levels)
- Constitutional Issues (political issues at the national level, maintaining the founding documents)
Who can be a member?
The FVFC is open to any and all people from whatever political parties or backgrounds. Democrat, Republican, Green, Libertarian, it doesn’t matter as all are welcome. The only real requirements to become a Member of the FVFC are to be a United States citizen, to believe in the power and upholding of the Constitution of the United States of America, and to want to work towards becoming an empowered, effective, active, and free member of society.
To become a Member one must contact any of the Organizers and begin an active dialogue with them, and from that dialogue will begin the process of becoming a Member of the group. The only caveat is to be sure that one is actually ready to become active and participatory as this is not a wait-and-see type of group! None should be found sitting on the sidelines when the game is on. . .
Prospective members are encouraged to attend meetings and converse with other Members before deciding to become an official Member themselves. This ensures that one’s own involvement will be beneficial for all and that the group truly represents what it claims to represent. While the FVFC is open to adults of any age, we ask that anyone under the age of 18 who may be interested in joining this group consult first with their parents and contact us to arrange a meeting.

I’m wondering… I was researching information on the Constitution Party’s website and I’ve found that there is an important distinction between “United States citizen” and an “American soverign”… at least before a judge.
Is that distinction right? If I invoke the opt out clause (UCC 1-207) of Uniform Commerce Code… does their corporate law have no juristiction on me?
Keep the flame of liberty ignited, it may flicker but we the people ensure that it will hold fast.
